Latest news – Newspaper Reporting on “Learning Villages” (LV) Project

In 20th Sept 2006, four reporters from local newspapers were invited to visit the Centre for the Advancement of Information Technology in Education (CAITE) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), which puts great effort in constructing the LV project. The reporters showed keen interest in the teaching approaches adopted in LV and were also impressed by the fascinating people, buildings and scenarios found in this learning game. Experience the LV world in Hong Kong, Mainland China and US

With the support from Education and Manpower Bureau of HKSAR, the co-organizer of the LV project, an online platform is now ready for the project-based learning activities in the three regions. Players will be able to meet friends from the foreign world while having in-depth discussion about different knowledge and ideas through the platform. You are welcome to share this good news with your classmates and friends.

LV login accounts are open for application now. We sincerely invite schools from Hong Kong, Mainland China and US to join our LV world. Interested parties can check out the information HERE (Also available in Chinese Version)


Be a LV pioneer now!

Students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong are invited to be the LV pioneers and each of them would be given a trial account. However, the trial version does not accept any public registration at this stage.
