In the LV, the villagers (the students), under the guidance of the teacher, are able to complete their WebQuest tasks in the Castle website and they can also exchange certain knowledge through their learning process in the Village website.
Each village represents one independent discussion topic and each house represents one viewpoint. Students can build their own new village to motivate a new discussion topic or they can respond to an existing but similar viewpoint. A road must be built to link these viewpoints together to indicate the relationship. In addition, students can enter a house to participate in the discussion.
Inside the Village
If you wish to engage in a new discussion, a new village can be built and you will become the Chieftain of this village. The Chieftain is the most powerful person in his village.
He has the power to promote the villagers to a higher position. E.g. A villager can be promoted to be a Warrior who has the special skill and authority to control the security of the village.
Each house built within the village will empower the Chieftain. He can make amends to the houses and roads in his village. Through structural and qualitative reorganization of the knowledge content, the discussion progress is improved.
To make your viewpoints known to all, you can choose to build houses in your own village or in other player’s.
in each house there is an independent space. You can choose to use this space to communicate directly with other players or to respond to a player by leaving a message
depending on the number of responses, the house owner will receive some rewards; at the same time, the Chieftain and other house owners in the same village will be promoted
