When you are in the LV, you are in control of your influences, 'donuts' (virtual money) and appearance. You can take up different roles, like the Chieftain, a villager or the Warrior.

Please use your mouse to select your character. Your personal information will appear. Click on the 'Change Appearance' button on the right to find a list of choices which you can select to change your hairdo, the colour of your hair, complexion and clothes. You can also change the gender of your character.

Select the 'Change information' button at the right side to find details of your personal information. You may change the nickname of your character or input some new data about yourself.

The control panel helps you to engage in other activities besides moving the character.

• The buttons from left to right are: ‘Return’, ‘Action’, ‘Skills’, ‘Items’, ‘Balance Sheet’, ‘Dialogues’, ‘Contact List’, ‘Emotions’, ‘Lens’ and ‘Tools’.
  
• Return – to exit from the present scene and return to the previous one
• Action – Do you want to attract someone’s attention? Just perform a few dance steps
• Skills – Do you want to surprise your opponent? Aim carefully at the head with your eraser and throw it.
• Items – you can use all sorts of items including the equipment on your character
• Balance Sheet – this shows a record of your income/expenditure and how many ‘donuts’ are in your bank
• Dialogues – enter your message in the dialogue frame, then press ‘enter’. Other players in the game will be able to read your message.
• Contact List – click on other players’ characters and you will see their information. To add a character (player) to your contact list, click the ‘Add to Contact List’ button.
• Emotions – you can choose from a variety of emotion symbols to express your feelings
• Lens – to zoom in or zoom out for close-ups or wide shots
• Construction - to build houses or roads in a village
